At 0047 hrs, the box alarm was dropped for the house fire in the Knollwood section of Claymont. While E132 and the Chief were enroute, Fireboard advised that they have reports of subjects trapped. E132 arrived reported smoke showing, secured their own water source, and pulled a line. 138 (E. Haley) arrived and established the 'Claymont Command'. Ladder 13 arrived shortly after and performed first due special service tasks. The crew split up with an inside and outside team, the inside team started an aggressive search of the second and third floors as the outside team threw numerous ground ladders and assisted with opening up the rear of the house. L11, R25, and R39 assisted on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Extension was found on the exterior of the C side and was handled appropriately.
Fire Chief Eric Haley had the 'Claymont Command'
